Muscle weakness fatigue can be overcome by sleep
I use the term "muscle weakness fatigue" to describe the tiredness caused by the weakness of the muscles. This muscle symptom is experienced by everyone sometime in their lives. It happens to me a lot back in the days of ignorance where I didn’t care about my health. Now I know better.
In the morning, if have muscle weakness fatigue normally follows throughout the day. A lot of this is due to bad sleep or bad quality of sleep.
We all know that when we sleep, our brains and internal organs are still active. It is the time when the body repairs itself. Sleep is proven to affect your physical and mental health. Your muscle weakness fatigue is affected by sleep tremendously.
After your workout, you may have pushed your muscles over the limit. They will feel sore and need time to repair. Through bad quality of sleep, your muscles may not have recovered as fast or as efficient as it’s supposed to. Fatigue will inevitably pound you to the ground the whole day.
Researchers have concluded that in general, adults need 7-8 hours of sleep each night - it varies from person to person. With continuous lack of sleep, you may feel your body has accustomed to it. However, your physical and mental functions are affected and your reactions become slow. These include mental reactions as well as physical reactions.
Not forgetting to mention that lack of sleep also decreases your immunity system and makes your body vulnerable to illness. Muscle weakness fatigue is only just one of the side effects of lack of sleep.
To say goodbye to muscle weakness fatigue and get the sleep we need, we can:
- Sleep at a set schedule with the same environment. Remember sleep repairs your muscle tissues and fights away the fatigue.
- Continue to train when your muscles are sore as this builds hard muscles. You will be able to withstand more strain on your muscles
- Don't exercise before going to sleep because it raises your body temperature and you will find it harder to fall asleep. Try to exercise several hours before your sleep
With the proper sleep and proper workouts, muscle weakness fatigue will be a thing of the past.
